The Cast of Downer

Downer Tarantula
Dark elf adventurer and Thieves' Guild lieutenant. Can't cast a spell to save his life, but has a real knack for gadgets. Archer supreme and kung-fu master. Custodian of the bizarre Ulolok.

Loops Pavillion
Ghost bard. Killed by Downer. First casualty of Serjenko's Raiders.

Taggit Greyvo
Halfling master thief, and guild brother of Downer. Agent of the copper dragon Kroiff. One of Serjenko's Raiders.

Izank the Cursed
Hapless mind-flayer sorcerer. An old friend of Downer's. Dogged by githyanki and githzerai alike.

Ba'Roosha
Ferocious githyanki. Sworn defender of the living relic, the Ulolok.

Downer is a raucous, satirical look at Dungeons & Dragons through the eyes of a disgruntled dungeon guard. Fool's Errand follows Downer and his band of wandering monsters as they venture to the surface world to deliver an obscure relic to a cagey dragon.

Fool's Errand, Part III
Dungeon 125
Our heroes finally emerge from The Underdark, and Downer pays the price for splitting up the party.

Fool's Errand, Part II
Dungeon 124
At a remote exit to the surface, can Downer be trusted to dismantle his life's work? Loops and Taggit don't think so.

Fool's Errand, Part I
Dungeon 123
Hunger pains! The githyanki unleashed! "I only like mushrooms when they're cooked."
