"Even had this project not produced such an invaluable aid to so many Dungeon Masters, it would still have been fascinating; for this is the campaign where much of DUNGEONS & DRAGONS and ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS took shape and form. This world was the first -- the prototype for the countless D&D universes that exist now. Already famous among fantasy gamers, Greyhawk also served as the setting for the novel Quag Keep by famed SF&F author Andre Norton. At conventions D&D players jump at the chance to play in this venerable campaign. How many characters were born, lived, fought, and died in this rugged land no one will ever know for certain; several will live forever through their contributions to the game. Do the names Tenser and Mordenkainen ring a bell?..."

Excellent excerpt. I'm still confused as to why Wizards of the Coast wouldn't allow for the name Tenser to be used instead of Manzorian in the Age of Worms adventure path. Go figure.
Maybe, just maybe, WotC will realize the market potential for a v3.5 Greyhawk Player's Guide. There are a lot of new players as of 3e D&Dl a fresh new market to whom WotC can reachout with Greyhawk material.
Indeed. But I guess what everyone want s to hear is, what are *you* gonna do about it, Mr. Publisher-Now?
(Just thought I'd take the bait rather than some troll)
I just read the good news. Congratulations Oerik, err... I mean Erik! ;)
Rumor has it that his new contract calls for a trained Beholder to do his bidding.
Sweet quote. Al had some great PC's in Gary's game as well.
Who did Allen play in the olde GreyHawk campaign?
My favorite was Lassiviren, I always used him as a nemisis in 1st ed. And if I am remembering the Rogue's Gallery correctly I think he ran the monk and the fighter reincarnated as a lizard man. They were al drawn by Jeff Dee, which is probably why I thought they were cool.
Jeff Dee is so awesome. I once contacted him about doing art for Polyhedron, and he said something along the likes of "don't make me draw dudes with capes and bell bottoms." Hurm. That was kind of what I wanted...
As to what *I'm* gonna do about it, well, stay tuned.
Very Much Tuned, Motherfucker.
OK, Erik. Give it up! What are you up to?! :)
